I have always been inspired by nature.  We are surrounded by color and beauty.  Ever notice the way light reflects off of a raindrop, how the colors dance as you shift your view.  My inspiration for Southern Layne Creations was to take the elements that GOD has given us and capture my interpretation in the form of jewelry that will capture people's attention.  My intention is for each unique one-of-a-kind piece to "speak" to the individual wearing it.  There is something special in knowing that you are the ONLY person who has that specific piece of jewelry that could have been inspired by a picture, a song, a trip to the ocean, a nature walk or a memory.
